The Marey Gas and Electric tankless water heaters are designed to last around 20 years or longer. As long as the Marey tankless water heaters are installed correctly per the installation manual with the heater and the unit is serviced and cleaned periodically then the unit should last for many years.
If you live in an area with hard water then you will get scale deposits that will build up on the heater and the elements and heat exchangers. The units can be descaled using our Whitlam Descale Kit. The Whitlam descale kit comes with a small pump, bucket, 2 - 3/4" hoses and a quart of Whitlam Flow-Aide descaling solution.
