GlobalTowne is an authorized distributor of the
Marey gas and electric tankless water heaters. Marey has recently updated their manual for the power gas GA5L/10L and 16L units. The installation manual has been revised to show that the 5L/10L and 16L power gas units must be vented vertically up through the roof. The minimum vertical vent height shall be no less than 6'. Sidewall venting on a naturally drafting unit is not permissible and is against the National Fuel Gas Code (NFGC). Below is a diagram that shows the vertical venting and also the venting specifications for each unit.
