History of Marey Tankless Water Heaters

Marey was founded in 1955 by the visionary Puerto Rican entrepreneur Mariano Reyes (the company name derived from the joining of his first and last name), who devoted his entire life to the production of innovative tankless water heaters. Chasing his dream of sustainable, endless hot water, he developed the point of use shower water heater. Throughout his career, he contributed many new innovations to continue to progress the Marey brand and solidify Marey as a market leader in Puerto Rico. From the first shower heater product we have expanded our product lines to many different options to best suit any customer’s hot water solution needs. To this day, we continue the same passion which Mariano founded the business upon to provide the most reliable and efficient products at an affordable price for our customers.

Marey Warranty Policy

Marey’s warranty is comprehensive and covers all manufacturer’s defects. Physical damage or damage caused during installation, exposure to extreme climate conditions, or dismantled interiors cannot be covered under warranty. You must follow the installation instructions exactly, and it is our strong recommendation that you employ the services of a licensed plumber or electrician to assist you with the installation.

Warranty coverage is for replacement parts and labor for the first year. After the first year, only replacement parts are covered. Refunds are not available under the warranty. Warranty repairs must be done at a certified Marey Service Center (customer is responsible for return shipment). In case warranty repairs are needed, please contact Marey directly at the number listed above for instructions. Please do not return the unit to your retailer or to the warehouse.

Product Suitability: Many jurisdictions have codes and regulations governing sales, construction, installation, and/or use of products for certain purposes, which may vary from those in neighboring areas. While Marey attempts to assure that its products comply with such codes, it cannot guarantee compliance, and cannot be responsible for how the product is installed or used. Before purchase and use of a product, review the product applications, all applicable national and local codes and be sure that the product, installation and use will comply with them.

Damage to the unit or residence caused by exposure to freezing temperatures is not covered under warranty and responsibility for this type of damage is disclaimed by Marey Heater Corporation. Please refer to your instruction manual on how to avoid exposing your unit to freezing temperatures.

Marey ECO110 Electric Tankless Water Heater

GlobalTowne is now carrying the Marey electric tankless water heaters. The Marey ECO110 is a 11KW point of use electric tankless water heater.  It is recommended that you have at least a 150 amp electrical service to your home before installing the Marey ECO 110. The Marey ECO110 gets hard wired in using 8 gauge wire to a 60 amp breaker. The ECO110 is good for 1 major application (1 shower with low flow shower head) at a time in the southern states and 1 sink in the northern climates. The ECO110 has a digital display and shows the temp of the hot water when in use.

Marey heating elements are made from a single piece of cast aluminum, so there will never be water leakage non electric leakage in the heating chamber. Marey heaters also have an extra stainless steel water flow channel instead of the previous layered plate style, so no matter how your water quality is inside the heating element, it will provide a long life of service.  The compact and powerful Marey electric tankless water heaters are CE and ETL Approved and designed with German Technology. They come with stainless steel covers to guaranty long product life.
